Established in the 1860s, the Peabody Museum is one of the world's oldest anthropology museums. Its comprehensive records of human cultural history are world renowned, as are its galleries, including the Hall of the North American Indian, and the Moche of Ancient Peru. The museum resides on the main Harvard campus, across from the Science Center.
