An offshoot of Harvard University, the Arthur M. Sackler Museum contains a renowned permanent collection of Eastern art, including archaic Chinese Jades, Japanese surimono, and Korean ceramics. Temporary exhibits in the past have featured contemporary South Asian photography, art of the Islamic world over the past 1,000 years, and much more. The Sackler occupies an elegant, modern building in the heart of Harvard campus, near Cambridge Hospital.
